Andō Hiroshige (Utagawa Hiroshige) was a renowned Japanese ukiyo-e artist known for his landscape prints and his ability to capture the beauty and atmosphere of Japan’s countryside. His works greatly influenced Western art and continue to be admired as masterpieces of Japanese art. Most of the selections here are from the series “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo”.
